About Fundamental Baptist Church
Fundamental Baptist Church exists to glorify God by Knowing Him thoroughly, by Growing in Him consistently, and by Sharing Him passionately.
Fundamental Baptist Church was founded in 1962 as a local congregation with an earnest desire to glorify God.
We believe that mankind's ultimate purpose is to glorify God.
We also believe that in this era God does this through born again, spiritually regenerated individuals who are members of local churches established after the pattern set out in the New Testament.
We use the word “Fundamental” in our name because we sincerely believe in the fundamentals of the Christian faith. We firmly believe that these principles found Scripture.
Examples of fundamentals of the Christian faith include, the belief that the Scriptures as our sole authority for faith and practice and the requirement for each church member is to have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her personal Saviour.
We use the word "Baptist" in our name because we believe that a Baptist church is the free association of baptized believers and is self governing, that is free and apart from any external denominational influence or governance.
