Ministries of our Church



At Fundamental Baptist, we have a variety of ministries to enable us to carry out our mission to reach the lost and disciple the saved. These ministries are evaluated regularly for effectiveness and purpose, and are subject to change. Each ministry contains a summary of the schedule and focus. We are confident that we have a group for every age and a place for you!

Windcrest Bible Camp

The one ministry that consumes much of our effort and energy during the summer months is Windcrest Bible Camp. Windcrest is an 85 acre Christian camp located in Damascus, NB. Windcrest is owned and operated by the members of Fundamental Baptist, and provides an opportunity for our church as well as fellowshipping churches in the area an opportunity to reach out and minister to children. We are currently running about 6 weeks of camps, from junior camp for grades 3-5 to family camp for families of all ages. Why not visit us at our web site www.windcrestbiblecamp.org?

Sunday School
The Sunday School ministry meets every Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45 am. This hour is designed to meet the needs of different age groups within our membership. These classes include ages all the way from kindergarten to seniors. There are separate classes for elementary, junior and senior high students, singles, young married couples and a class for adults that meets in the auditorium for group instruction and then the adults move to small groups for discussion of the Biblical truths learned.

Youth Ministries

Our church offers a youth program for those in grades 6-12. The program is run by pastor Andy Henderson. Andy schedules regular activities, Bible studies, as well as day outings, and a yearly missions/college trip. Andy is a full time employee of Fundamental Baptist Church and is available to help your teens 24 hours a day. Andy is also the camp director for Windcrest Bible Camp on the Damascus Road, which runs three weeks of camps for Grades 3-12. Feel free to give him a call or email with your questions. Young Adult Ministries

An exciting and growing group in our church is the young adults. They meet together at various activities throughout the year, in Sunday School as well as informally to have fun and help others in the church. There is also a yearly young adult retreat that focuses on relevant issues from the Bible with lots of activity and food. Many of our Young Adults are also involved in our children and teen ministries throughout the year, not to mention counseling at Windcrest Bible Camp throughout the summer. Brother Joel Eastwood and others from the group help organize and administer the activities.

Adults

While our church certainly has a desire to minister to younger people, we also provide opportunities for our adults to serve and be active. Our adults meet for activities and outings several times a year as well as having a Sunday School class designed to meet their needs each week. Our adults make up the backbone of our church and are faithful in seeing that our ministries function smoothly as well as having an adequate number of volunteers.

Seniors Bible Fellowship

Brother Richard Wallace is our senior’s ministry director. Our seniors meet several times a year for bible study and singing, as well as a luncheon together. They also participate in the ministries of our church. The Senior’s are an active group and also take in a number of trips throughout the year, like going to the Gagetown fair, or a day trip to Calais, Maine. Brother Wallace also has a busy visiting schedule and is wiling to visit with anyone who would like him to come!

Kids 4 Truth

Every Friday night throughout the school year at 6:30 pm., our Kids 4 Truth ministry convenes. Kids 4 Truth is a ministry focused on school children from Kindergarten to grade 5. This two hour program includes bible memory work, singing, puppets and games. Children have the opportunity to earn awards and invite friends to come with them. This exciting ministry is staffed by volunteers from Fundamental Baptist and is headed up by a joint Pastoral effort. For more information, please contact mrjoel@fundamentalbaptistchurch.org
